Shopping in Bodrum
Bodrum can be described as a big market. If you are a keen shopper, the mazes of Bodrum’s streets offer a lively and fulfilling
shopping experience. Traditional Turkish tea will be offered to you in most outlets, big or small. Although this could be considered
as a way of keeping you in the store for longer I found the Turkish shop sellers to be very friendly and on the whole not too pushy,
making the day a real experience.
Bodrum’s definitely a place where you can hone your bargaining and haggling skills. The prices that the retailer will start
from generally can be halved if you play them right. Be sure that they will be playing the same game so stand strong on the price
you have in mind. Many products are sold in several shops so a useful tip is to try and play the retailers of on one another. In my
experience retailers will usually lower there price to compete with there rival stores.
Night Life in Bodrum - Turkey
Bodrum s night life has often to be ranked number one for going out in Turkey (even by the Turks them self), even beating Istanbul
to the number one spot. This could be down to the fact that its said that its probably got more bars per inch than other towns, cities
in Turkey. With this many Turkish bars in a concentrated area there is definitely something for everyone’s tastes.
