Golf is definitely BIG in the Algarve. Owning a golf property in the Algarve would mean bragging rights to all your golf buddies back home when you tell them that you own your very own property in one of the main golfing destinations of Europe. In fact in 1999 the Algarve was elected the ‘World Golf Destination of the Year’ by the international golf travel awards.

With more new courses in the pipe line, the golf in the Algarve can only get bigger and better. If you are worried about the quality of these golf courses don’t be, although I can not vouch for all of them. A survey poll carried out by the British Golf magazine placed 10 of the golf courses in the Algarve in its top 100.
