Italy Flight & Travel & General Information
Italy has over 130 airports dotted around its country. A strong amount of these are major international airports serviced by direct
flights from Europe and the USA, receiving tourist flights. Approximate flight times from London to one of Italy’s many major
airports is going to around the 3 hour mark. The most convenient method of travelling longer distances around Italy would be by its
very efficient train service. At a very reasonable cost the Italian train service is one of the cheapest in Europe.
Climate of Italy - The climate that Italy receives is actually very diverse depending on where about you are considering buying a
property. Where the costal regions can receive a very different temperatures and weather compared to the more inland areas. The best
climate to be had are on theses coastal areas with a Mediterranean climate, which means generally it will be hot and dry in the summer
and quite mild during the winter months.
The further south down Italy’s peninsula you travel the longer the summers will last for. Although the temperatures in the winter
between the north and south Italy vary considerably and can be as much difference as 10 Celsius, the summers are more closely matched.
Each of Italy’s coasts see difference in weather as well. Generally the east coast of Italy is drier than the west coast but
in the winter temperatures drop lower.
